Thankful

blessed
With Thanksgiving tomorrow, and Christmas just a month away, there is so much to be thankful for. I'm not sure why we all wait until this time of year to give our thanks, and to reflect on the past year... we should constantly be giving thanks. We should reflect on each day so that we can make the next even better.

I have an amazing husband. I am so thankful that he goes to work everyday to provide us with a roof, clothes, and food. He works so incredibly hard for us, and even though Chubbs may not be able to say it, he is just as thankful as I am. I really did marry my best friend, and sure, he might get on my nerves every now and then, but you cannot honestly tell me that every married couple lives day to day with no bickering. They aren't human if they can do that! My husband is hilarious (sometimes obscene), intelligent, caring, loving, hard working, and a great dad.

I am so thankful for my son. We've been through quite a journey together, and every day brings something new. He's such an intelligent young man, so curious and funny, he brightens everyday. This past week while I was sick, his kisses and hugs were so very much needed. I am so thankful that I was given Chubbs, and that our journey as a family is unique and beautiful. I wouldn't trade him in for anything.

This year has been really crazy and fun. We closed on our house December 30th 2008, so we are so close to that anniversary date! I started blogging and really getting into social media. I've made friends, I've lost friends. I've lived, I've learned. We brought a new furry family member into our home, we went on a fun and beautiful vacation, so many wonderful things have happened.

I love that everyday I get to wake up and do what I do. I love that what I do is something I love to do.
